"Together in God's grace, may we give our children the roots to grow and the wings to fly"

Enabling children to flourish and succeed

EYFS - Miss Elverson's Class

Welcome to EYFS' Class Page

Class Teacher - Miss Elverson
Early Years Practitioner - Mrs Downs

At Loughborough Church of England Primary School, we want to give your children the very best start in life, beginning with the Early Years Foundation Stage. In order for us to do this, we provide a safe and engaging environment which allows children to flourish.

Our curriculum is ambitious. It is carefully sequenced and taught in a variety of ways, such as: whole class teaching, group activities, continuous and enhanced provision, as well as through building relationships with your children. Our curriculum is built around providing children with a depth of knowledge that will provide a strong foundation for learning as they continue their studies into Key Stage 1. We place high importance on children feeling safe, happy and on ensuring that children thrive by making their best progress through a language-rich environment. We set high expectations for children, challenging them to reach their fullest potential to support them to become life-long successful, curious learners.

Here at Loughborough Church of England Primary School, we recognise the importance of building good relationships with our parents. We regularly share information and pictures of your child's learning using Class Dojo allowing you a window into our classroom so that conversations at home can further deepen their understanding.
