School Council's trip to London

On Tuesday 9th December our older school council team hopped onto the train to visit London!
After making it into London we then caught the Tube to Westminster to have a tour of the Houses of Parliament as arranged by our MP Nicky Morgan.

During our tour of Parliament we had the opportunity to visit the Queens Gown Room, the old Parliament entrance and even have a walk through the House of Commons.
Our tour guide was very thorough and told us lots of interesting facts!
After the Parliament visit (and a few photo’s) we popped over the Thames into McDonalds for a spot of lunch before visiting the Sea Life centre.
At the Sea Life Centre we were lucky enough to see the sharks & penguins being fed as well as touching a real starfish / other rock pool critters.
