Equal Opportunities

Loughborough C of E Primary School's Equal Opportunities policy can be found below. We are committed to ensuring our school meets the aims of the public sector equality duty, with regard to the need to:

  • Eliminate discrimination, harassment, victimisation and any other conduct that is prohibited by or under the Equality Act 2010
  • Advance equality of opportunity between persons who share a relevant protected characteristic and persons who do not share it
  • Foster good relations between persons who share a relevant protected characteristic and persons who do not share it

Strategies across all aspects of school life help us to achieve these aims, such as a curriculum which champions inclusion and diversity, staff training, displays that celebrate diverse communities.
