Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Loughborough Church of England Primary School Pupils Continue to Flourish, Exceeding National Averages Across All Areas

Loughborough Church of England Primary School, part of the Rise Multi Academy Trust, is celebrating another year of exceptional pupil achievement, with results that significantly exceed previous years and national averages across key subject areas.

The school’s nurturing environment, high expectations, and dedicated staff have helped pupils to thrive academically and personally, with outcomes reflecting the school’s commitment to excellence and holistic development.

In the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), 78% of pupils achieved a Good Level of Development — a large difference compared to last year’s National Average figure of 67.7% (2023–24). This outstanding progress demonstrates the school’s continued success in ensuring pupils get off to the very best start in their education.

By the end of Year 6, pupils have once again demonstrated outstanding performance:

  • Reading: 92% (National 75%)

  • Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: 83% (National 73%)

  • Writing: 79% (National 72%)

  • Maths: 83% (National 74%)

  • Reading, Writing and Maths Combined: 75% (National 62%)

These impressive results highlight not only the school’s academic strength but also the dedication of its teaching team and the positive learning culture that supports every child to achieve their potential.

Headteache, Nicola Ferey, said:

“We are incredibly proud of our pupils’ achievements. These results reflect their hard work, the support of our dedicated staff, and the strong partnership we have with our families and community. At Loughborough C of E Primary, we are committed to helping every child flourish — academically, spiritually, and personally.”

As part of the Rise Multi Academy Trust, the school continues to build on its success, offering an inclusive and inspiring education where children are encouraged to develop curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
