Loughborough Church of England Primary School Hosts Spectacular Summer Fayre

Loughborough Church of England Primary School, part of Rise Multi Academy Trust, was delighted to welcome an incredible turnout for its annual Summer Fayre on Thursday, 27th June. The event was officially opened by The Mayor, Councillor David Northage, who cut the ribbon to mark the start of the festivities.

With glorious sunshine overhead, families, friends, and members of the local community came together to enjoy a fantastic afternoon of fun, entertainment, and community spirit.

Visitors were treated to a wonderful array of refreshments, including delicious cakes, bakes, and cookies from Little Lou Bakes, as well as refreshing iced teas served by Cafe2U. There was something for everyone, with a wide variety of stalls, activities, and local vendors to explore.

A particular highlight was the entrepreneurial spirit shown by pupils, who designed and ran their own stalls such as Splat the Rat and handcrafted sweet cones, helping them develop a sense of responsibility and mini-enterprise skills.

Other popular attractions included face painting, stalls run by the Scouts, beauty products from C’est Tout, and a wonderful selection of children’s books offered by Elin from Fox’s Reading Den.

Nicola Ferey, Headteacher of Loughborough Church of England Primary School, commented:
“It was wonderful to see so many families and members of our community come together to support our Summer Fayre. The children showed such enthusiasm and creativity, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I am incredibly proud of our staff, pupils, and volunteers whose hard work made this event such a success. Thank you to everyone who joined us — it truly demonstrates the strength of our school community.”

The event was a huge success, raising an amazing amount of money to support the school. Organisers extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, and a special thank you goes to the dedicated staff whose hard work made the event possible.

Loughborough Church of England Primary School is proud to be part of such a supportive and engaged community and looks forward to many more events celebrating together in the future.
