Our Values Education is an integral part of daily life here at Loughborough C.E. (Aided) Primary School. We have six core Christian values which are embedded in all we do and help to make our school a distinctive church school. Our values are:
FORGIVENESS, RESPECT, PERSEVERANCE, PEACE, COMPASSION, JUSTICE.
If you want to know more keep coming back to find out about our Values Curriculum, which is changed every half term.
Our value for this half term is: Justice
- Judging what is right
- Understanding what is fair
- Standing up for those who need help
- Trying to listen to both sides
- Caring enough to take action
‘Learn to do right. Seek justice.’ Isiah 1:17
Deciding the right thing to do can be difficult. It can be more complicated than treating everyone the same. We need to learn all we can first about a situation and then seek (think carefully about) a wise solution.
God’s idea of justice is to make everyone equal in His Kingdom because His love is generous. Jesus reminds us that we should be thankful for God’s generosity and not be envious about the good things that God also gives to others.
