Our Values

Our Values Education is an integral part of daily life here at Loughborough C.E. (Aided) Primary School. We have six core Christian values which are embedded in all we do and help to make our school a distinctive church school. Our values are:

FORGIVENESS, RESPECT, PERSEVERANCE, PEACE, COMPASSION, JUSTICE.

If you want to know more keep coming back to find out about our Values Curriculum, which is changed every half term.

Our value for this half term is: Perseverance

Reflection points: Perseverance is......

  • Running the race
  • Commitment to keep going and stick with things
  • Encouraging each other to keep going
  • Valuing the support of others
  • Showing determination and not giving up
  • Aiming to complete a task and achieve your goals

‘I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.’ Philippians 4:13

Christians believe that Jesus is with them in every challenge that they face in their lives. Just like a good trainer standing at the end of a finishing line in a race who encourages the runner to keep going.

Whenever we persevere with something there is always a reward at the end; it may be a medal or a certificate but our reward might also just be a sense of achievement we feel deep inside.
